22 October - The original picture gallery is repaired and back online. I left the connection to the Google (Picasa Web) picture libraries for right now, We also corrected some challenges with the Forum area. Sorry for any inconvenience. 21 October - The Return of the Picasaweb Library - - Because of a failure when I attempted to upgrade our picture gallery software the gallery is off line until I get some technical assistance. To provide you continued access I brought back our old library and updated the pictures for you. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me at wheelsfromthepast@gmail.com.

August Updates

We are starting to run out of free picture storage on the Google space I've been using. As the resolution, I installed a free picture catalog from our host provider that we can use. As you use the new Gallery, please provide your comments or suggestions to the webmaster. This software and all the picture storage we want are available as part of our current Internet provider contract. Posted - 11 July 2010

Added our Annual Labor Day Car Show Sponsorship letter with receipt. Any member can use this letter to solicit and get sponsors for our car show that benefits the SPCA. The letter with its attachments was written to be as self explanatory as possible. If you have any questions please contact the Show organizer or the President or our Board of Directors.

14 May - Added Club Projects Page moved the Pulver Project Blog there and added an Annual Car Show Project Page to provide information on the planning and progress toward our annual event.

13 May - Added a Blog Page to chronicle our club project to get Jon Pulver's Firedome operational again.

12 May - Added Google Calendar capabilities to the Events Page

12 May - We just added another calendar capability that you may review and comment on. This event calendar is provided free by Google. It provides a few more features; two that I will mention: 1) Members that want can get accounts to add or update events themselves 2) Members that get accounts have the ability to have the calendar automaically send ticklers to their email addresses. 24 April - Added A Day by the Bay Downs Park Spring Dust Off Car Show

22 April- Began public testing of a new Forum Section (We are fielding a second Web upgrade, a web forum. We are replacing the static 'Member Only' pages with an interactive 'Club Forum' capability. The forum will provide us with several capabilities, should we choose to use them. It provides for public discussions, technical or just war stories, about our cars. We can allow any car enthusiast to join the forum and provide information in the forum's public areas. The forum will also enable us to post events to a common interactive calendar. We will also have a private, club members only, area for those discussions or documents only active members should see. This new forum is pretty much self-service, you establish you own account and password. The administrator will review forum member aacounts periodically and will inlcude active club members in the WFTP Club member group so you will have access to the Club only areas.)

20 April - Began public testing of a new Classified Ad Section (We began prototyping a new Club 'Classified Ad' Section. I transferred all current ads to the new platform. Anyone should be able to view the ads and you can register to post new ads. Please provide feedback to the webmaster.)
